Egypt’s biggest career development summit is back with a fourth edition. The two-day event is hosting more than 350 speakers, 200 talks and sessions, and almost 6000 attendees. Egypt Career Summit‘s (ECS) offline edition will take place this weekend, on August 13 and 14, at The Greek Campus.
Organizing an on-ground event amid the Covid-19 pandemic is a challenge, yet Mohamed Akmal, co-founder of Career 180 told The Insider MIU that their medical partner, El-Andalusia Hospital is geared with all the medical equipment needed for the safety of the attendees. The organizer also said that a mask mandate will be applied for indoor sessions and activities.
ECS’ 2021 version will offer more content tracks and will cover new fields, including pharmacy and law. “We are launching our recruitment platform this edition. So, we are not only preparing students for the work environment. We are actually connecting them to job opportunities and internship programs,” Akmal said. “We also partnered with a number of ministries to support the governmental initiatives that empower youth.”
