2020 was full of downs, but it also had its ups. It ended with a surprise; one of the best women in Egypt showed us that nothing is impossible, and with dedication and hard work you can achieve your dreams, as Rania M. Amin El Ghobashy won the Stevie Awards for Women in Business in the Automotive Industry category.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business is an international competition produced by the creators of the prestigious American Business Awards®️. Stevie is hailed as the Oscar’s of the business world. Stevie is widely regarded as the world’s premier business award. It was created in 2002 to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide.

Rania was the first African and Arab to win this prize and make it possible for other women to win it too, and achieve their dreams. The comments of the judges to Rania were extraordinary, one of them said “She manages to make things happen beyond the obstacles presented. Her inspiring energy and determination is a lesson for all women”. Rania’s response to this astonishing achievement was “I would like to say that I’m an ordinary mechanical woman engineer who decides and chooses to create impact worldwide, and make every single moment to be extraordinary by taking and doing just one more extraordinary decision so, who knows what is next!”

We are all proud of Rania to set a good example for women here in Egypt, and inspire them that they can achieve the impossible. Thank you a lot Rania for giving us hope by the end of 2020.
