Staying at home made more enjoyable, thanks to Global Citizen’s campaign: #stayathome
Global citizen is taking action against the coronavirus by launching a campaign supporting the World Health Organization funding (WHO). They established online concerts with big artists like Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Camila Cabello and more. These artists joined the “stand together to beat coronavirus” campaign and the #togetherathomecampaign.
The hashtag Together At Home is the global citizen’s virtual concert series hosted by big artists, in partnership with WHO to help practice social distancing and promote global health. Staying at home and watching these daily virtual concerts will help you get over the quarantine boredom and take action against this coronavirus. You can tune in daily on Instagram stories or on global citizen’s channel on YouTube to view their online concerts.
Celebrities are posting stories and tweets to help the campaign; they include these three important steps:
Wash your Hands + practice social distancing.
Ask corporations + individuals to donate to the WHO Solidarity Fund.
Call on G20 leaders to urgently fund the WHO’s COVID-19 response.
With this help from Celebrities, the Global Citizen has received over 12000 actions!
“Of course when they asked me to be a part of this, I said yes.” Charile Puth on his Instagram live virtual concert “Encouraging people to keep practicing social distancing, but why not have some fun and listen to some music while you’re doing that?”
