35 and strong!!! Katy Perry decided to celebrate her 35th birthday at an unexpected destination, the land of the pharaohs, and get immersed in 5,300 years civilization. She was joined by her beloved fiancée, soon to be spouse, Orlando Bloom and her close friends.

It seems that the Dark Horse singer had a small tour in Egypt. First, she climbed a mountain and she posed in front of the historic Sphinx and The Great Pyramids of Giza, writing an interesting caption: “Ancient Egyptians believed that when you pass on, your heart had to be weighed. It had to be lighter than a feather for you to be qualified for the trip to the afterlife. My mother has called me feather since I was a little girl and I hope that after all is said and done, my heart is as light as one. This is 35”. Moreover, another picture was shared on social media platforms where she was wearing a “Galabeya” and standing next to a man from Upper Egypt, specifically in Siwa. There were other pictures shared with her friends whom she invited especially to Egypt in order to celebrate her birthday with her loved ones. According to the Daily Mail, Katy celebrated by enjoying a delicious dinner at the temple in Edfu, where she celebrated the night with a group of her friends. The group then concluded their celebrations by riding camels through the night. It was a magical night where you can feel love in the air. It is known that Katy and her fiancé Orlando will tie the knot next December and we couldn’t be more excited!
