“For last year’s words belong to last year’s language, and next year’s words await another voice, and to make an end is to make a beginning.”
Around its illusionary tilted axis, our earth spins, bringing us day after night after day. Some of us have been through unbearable pain, some have encountered loss, many of us have been blessed. We have celebrated, we have wept, mourned, and laughed. Most of us had to taste the savor and the sweet of the year that is now coming to an end.
While a year hopefully hands you gently to another, I ask you to consider a few notes;
All the times you were faced with an obstacle that you told yourself you can’t overcome, you have, you did, watch where you’re standing now.
You have become stronger, wiser, riper than the fruit you were the years before. Be certain that whatever challenges you encounter next, you have the ability to get through and out, victoriously.
Be raw with your feelings, with your actions, and with your words, it only scares those who have been too used to difficult human interactions. Your nectar is your confidence.
All the decisions you have made drew your path to your current destination, and wherever you are, geographically, emotionally, and mentally, you are a true fighter. Many more decisions lie ahead, so lower your guard a little, and let new winds carry you towards different blossoming fields.
Your well-being should be on top of your priority list, your physical to carry you around, and your mental to drive you through.
You can keep a notebook where you can document your feelings.
Reading a magazine, a quote, a book, a story, or even a newspaper more often, may be worthwhile.
As you are swiftly being carried by time and space towards a new year, travel lightweight by shedding whatever and whoever troubles you and burdens you down.
May your transition be as flawless as that of snow melting into blossoms and as warm as the sun rays that spread thoroughly. May it be as serene as the warmth kissing the chilled humming breeze of fallen leaves.
Let the fireworks begin,
Happy New year!
